Gokceada Island
GOKCEADA ISLAND
Gokceada is the largest island in Turkey and is located in the Northern Aegean Sea. Gokceada played an important role in the Gallipoli campaign. The town's locals mostly survive off tourism and a bustling fishing and farming industry.
There are several different areas of Gokceada including; Cinarli, Bademli Koyu, Derekoy, Derekoy, Kalekoy, Sahhinkaya Koyi, Sirinkoy, Tepekoy, Urgurlu Koyu, Yeni Bademli Koyu, Yenimahalle and Zaytinli Koyu.
Kalekoy is probably the highlight of Gokceada, with its small beach, hillside quarters, Ottoman-era castle, marina, and marine national park.
