Welcome to Farout Turkey. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Farout Turkey's website and services. By accessing this website and booking our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Farout Turkey's website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Definitions

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions:

  • "Company", "We", "Our" and "Us" refers to Farout Turkey
  • "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company's terms and conditions
  • "Services" refers to all travel-related services offered by Farout Turkey including cruises, yacht charters, tours, transfers, and ferry bookings

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Farout Turkey. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us and any required deposit or full payment has been received.

3.2 Payment Terms
  • A deposit of 30% is typically required at the time of booking
  • Full payment must be received at least 30 days before the departure date
  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking
3.3 Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers for all bookings. Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation. All prices are quoted in USD or EUR unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by Client
  • Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administration fee
  • Cancellations 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: No refund
4.2 Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Changes and Modifications

Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges:

  • Changes made more than 60 days before departure: €50 administration fee
  • Changes made 30-60 days before departure: €100 administration fee plus any price difference
  • Changes within 30 days may not be possible and will be treated as a cancellation

6. Travel Documents and Insurance

6.1 Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required health certificates. We are not liable for any issues arising from invalid or missing documentation.

6.2 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, loss of baggage, and other risks. We are not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance.

7. Liability and Responsibilities

7.1 Our Liability

We act as an agent for various service providers including yacht owners, cruise operators, tour guides, and transportation companies. While we take care to work with reputable partners, we are not liable for their acts, omissions, or defaults.

7.2 Client Responsibilities
  • Comply with all local laws and regulations
  • Respect crew members, other passengers, and local communities
  • Follow safety instructions provided by crew and guides
  • Be responsible for your personal belongings

8. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform any of our obligations if such failure is as a result of acts of God, including but not limited to fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms or other natural disasters, wars, government restrictions, riots, terrorism, labor strikes, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

9. Complaints

If you have any complaints about our services, please inform us immediately while on location so that we can attempt to resolve the issue. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, please submit a written complaint within 28 days of the end of your trip to complaints@faroutturkey.com.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
