Revenue office and Russian Consulate
Revenue Office
Built during the late
19th century, this revenue office is built in an unusual L shape, the front
also has a false columned facade. It is a highlight in Kars Baltic architecture
in the region. Being one of the key building of its type has made it a tourist
destination to visit.
Russian Consulate
Part of the collection that shares the revenue office building built during the Russian occupation of the region, it stands out with a stark architectural style compared to Turkish and Ottoman style. Today the building is once again used by the Russians, this time, however, it is in an official capacity as a general consulate.
