Side Ancient City

Side Ancient City near Antalya have some of the most notable ruins down in this area of southern Turkey. Rich in history, the ruins still contain three temples, an aqueduct and old theatres. The most impressive and the main attraction is the 2nd Century AD theatre. A fantastic example of the Roman construction at the time. The ruins have been excavated since 1947 and are still under constant archaeological interest.
