Only 15 kilometres away from Fethiye, Oludeniz is a great place to base yourself to enjoy long days at the beach and explore the surrounding area. The famous Blue Lagoon is the main attraction here and can be enjoyed from boat, land, or sky. Many gulet cruises, particularly those going to and from Fethiye to Olympos, will anchor in Oludeniz bay for an afternoon of enjoying this pristine area.
Paragliding from Babadag mountain is a favourite activity of many visitors and the views of the Blue Lagoon from high above will not disappoint. Oludeniz is the most photographed beach in all of Turkey and is also the starting point for the 500-kilometre footpath known as The Lycian Way.
