Cadianda is an ancient Lycian city located near Yesil Uzumlu, around 25 km from Fethiye. Set high in the mountains above the Fethiye region, the site offers a peaceful setting surrounded by pine forests and impressive natural scenery.
The ancient city is known for its theatre, agora, stadium, public baths, temples, monumental tombs and numerous water cisterns. Much of what can be seen today dates from the Hellenistic and Roman periods, while the city's Lycian origins go back much further.
