Cnidus

Knidos Ancient City is one of the most spectacular archaeological sites on the Datca Peninsula, dramatically positioned at its western tip where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas meet. The city was an important centre of ancient Caria and developed into a prosperous maritime and cultural hub thanks to its strategic position and two natural harbours.

The ruins spread across the hillside and coastline, with highlights including the remains of the Temple of Aphrodite, ancient theatre, agora, temples and monumental terraces.
