Demre and Olympos are two of the most fascinating destinations along the Lycian Coast, combining ancient history, beautiful beaches and the natural beauty of the Mediterranean. Demre is home to the ancient city of Myra, known for its impressive rock-cut Lycian tombs and Roman theatre, as well as the Church of St Nicholas. Olympos, surrounded by pine forests and close to the sea, is known for its ancient ruins, relaxed atmosphere and the nearby eternal flames of Chimaera at Yanartas.
