English Harbour (Ingiliz Limani)
English Harbour is a sheltered natural bay in the Gulf of Gokova, surrounded by pine-covered hills and calm, clear waters. The bay takes its name from the Second World War, when British submarines reportedly used the secluded harbour as a safe hiding place from the German navy.
Today, English Harbour is a popular stop on Blue Cruise routes between Marmaris and Gokova. Its peaceful setting and sheltered waters make it an ideal place to anchor, swim and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast.
