Gundogan
Gundogan is a peaceful coastal village on the northern side of the Bodrum Peninsula, situated between Yalikavak and Golturkbuku. Once known for fishing and sponge diving, the village has retained much of its traditional Aegean character, with mandarin groves, olive trees and a relaxed waterfront surrounding the bay.
The area is also notable for its historical heritage, with rock-cut tombs, old windmills and Byzantine remains found around the hills and nearby islands. Gundogan's calm bay and steady summer breeze also make it a popular destination for windsurfing and other water sports. Its combination of local character, clear waters and quiet surroundings makes it one of the more peaceful stops on the Bodrum Peninsula.
