Karacasogut Village
Karacasogut is a small and peaceful coastal village in the Marmaris region, set along the shores of the Gulf of Gokova. Surrounded by pine-covered hills and sheltered waters, the village has retained a quiet atmosphere and is a popular stop for Blue Cruise boats exploring the Gokova coastline.
The area is also home to the remains of ancient Amnistos, including rock-cut tombs, city walls, cisterns and an old harbour wall. With its natural surroundings, historic remains and sheltered anchorage, Karacasogut offers a quieter side of the Marmaris region.
