The Lycian Rock Tombs are one of the most distinctive reminders of the ancient Lycian civilisation along the Turquoise Coast. Carved directly into cliffs and hillsides, these monumental tombs date mainly from the 5th and 4th centuries BC and were designed to resemble houses or temples.
