Orhaniye

Orhaniye is a scenic coastal village on the Hisaronu Gulf near Marmaris and an important yacht anchorage along the Turquoise Coast. Surrounded by pine-covered hills, the bay is known for its calm waters and beautiful natural setting, making it a popular stop on Blue Cruise routes.

The area's most famous feature is Kizkumu, a shallow sandbar stretching around 600 metres into the bay, creating the unusual impression of walking across the sea. In the centre of the bay, the remains of an ancient castle believed to belong to Bybassos can also be seen, adding a touch of history to this distinctive coastal destination.
