10-day tour of the cultural and historical highlights of western Turkey, including the Anzac Day 2026 Memorial Service. On this tour, you will be taken on a comprehensive tour of Istanbul, Gallipoli, and Troy before spending Anzac Day at Anzac Cove. After Anzac Day, you will visit Ephesus, the site of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, as well as the white cliffs and hot springs of Pamukkale, and then return to Istanbul

20th April - Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey!

Transfer from Istanbul Airport to your accommodation in Istanbul for check-in.

21st April - Istanbul Street Exploring Tour

Today you will take a special tour that starts at the Grand Bazaar, this fantastic covered market is one of the largest in the world, with 4399 shops and 497 stalls as well as 2195 workshops handmaking items. You will take a Bosphorus Cruise where you will view the city from a totally different angle viewing amazing historical sites as you sail along the waterway. While sailing you will pass under the different bridges built at different time periods they offer a look into the change in architectural style.
Following our time on the water, you will visit the famous Taksim Square, with is a popular park where you will find families with children playing, men and women chatting and people enjoying the good weather with a book. From Taksim you will walk small streets rarely seen by tourists, you will walk Istiklal Street passing Galata Tower into Karakoy ending your walk at Galata Bridge. As you walk these streets you will get a chance to enjoy homemade food, from quick savory snacks to brilliant sweet treats.

Important  During this walking tour you will have the chance to try a selection of street food, these are optional but highly recommended.

22nd April - Istanbul Old City Tour

08:30 am - Pick up from accommodation in Istanbul.

Today you get another look at the magical city of Istanbul. You will be picked up from your accommodation, heading off to see some of the major attractions of this historical, mystical city. You will visit the Blue Mosque along with the Hippodrome & Obelisk and the breathtaking Hagia Sophia and then go into the old Sultan's Palace of Topkapi to see some of the Sultan's many ancient treasures and visit the Palace rooms and gardens. You also get a look at some of the best shopping in Istanbul and the world.

Our recommendation:
After the day's tour ends and you have your own free time, we recommend also visiting the Spice Bazaar to enjoy the sights and smells of Turkish tea, spices, and candies. You will be on your own here as it's not part of your tour package, but you will have plenty of time and can make your own way back to your hotel.

Important Notes:
-The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays
-Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays
-Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday
-Blue Mosque Entrance is limited on Fridays due to prayers, therefore we are unable to enter on Fridays.

We provide pickups from hotels in central areas in the following vicinities:
Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Laleli, Aksaray, Taksim area. Pickup from anywhere outside these areas may incur an extra charge. Please speak to our crew if you have any questions.

06:30 am to 07:00 am:  Pick up from your accommodation.
Depart for Eceabat (Gallipoli region) by non-smoking, A/C minibus.
12.00 pm - Arrive in Eceabat and restaurant lunch.
13.00 pm - Fully guided regular Gallipoli tour

24th April - Troy & Anzac Cove

07:30 am - Breakfast at the hotel.

Troy Tour - 08:00 - 12:00
Departure for fully guided regular Troy tour for 4 hours until 12:00. During the Troy tour, you will visit the Trojan Horse, the 3700-year-old city walls, the first Houses of Troy the Bouleuterion (Senate Building), The Odeon (Concert Hall) and the remains of the various cities from Troy I through to Troy IX. You will return to Canakkale at around 12:00 in the afternoon.


Free Time - 12:00 - 20:00
 After your tour of the ancient city of Troy, you will have the rest of the day free to rest before your departure for Anzac Cove for the commencement of the Dawn Service. If you wish you may use this time to visit the many famous attractions in a nice coastal town including Cimenlik castle, various beaches (Habbele Plaji), and museums (Canakkale Naval Museum).

25th April - Anzac Day in Gallipoli

A Breakfast picnic box is provided for today.

05:30 am - The Dawn Service begins. Afterwards, we head up to Lone Pine for the Australian Ceremony.
10:30 am - Australian National Ceremony at Lone Pine. Continue up to Chunuk Bair.
11:30 am - New Zealand National Ceremony at Chunuk Bair.

After you have honoured the lives and sacrifice by those who fell here you will have the rest of the day free.

Overnight in Eceabat or Canakkale

26th April - Pergamon Tour

10:00 am - Pick up from Accommodation and depart for Bergama (Pergamum / Pergamon Ancient city)
13:30 pm - Lunch in Bergama & depart for Pergamon

Pergamon Acropolis tour
Discovering ancient Pergamon, which was once one of the ancient world's major powers, will be the highlight of your day. Amongst the many breathtaking sites you will visit today, are some of the most intricately designed architectural structures of the ancient world.  The Acropolis which was once the capital of the Hellenistic Attalid dynasty was one of the major centers for learning and the arts of the Greek civilization that once inhabited this ancient city.

Ephesus full-day tour
Today you get to start to explore the wonders of Ephesus. You are picked up from your accommodation and get taken out to see some of the best-preserved marble ruins in the modern world – Ephesus. Ephesus was one of the Ancient Capitals of Roman Asia - the second largest ancient city of the world! A city where over 200,000 people lived over 3,000 years ago. You also get to visit the House of the Virgin Mary. An important place for the Christian faith, as it is believed it is where Mary spent the last years of her life. You will also visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world – The Temple of Artemis.

28th April - Pamukkale & Hieropolis

08:30 am - Pick up from the accommodation.

Pamukkale & Hierapolis tour
After breakfast, you are collected from your accommodation and depart for Pamukkale, which in Turkish translates to "cotton castle". On arrival, you have lunch before taking in the magnificent views of the “cotton castle” travertines. You get a guided tour of the white cliffs of Pamukkale and of the ancient, historical ruins of Hierapolis.


OPTIONAL TOUR: PAMUKKALE PARAGLIDING
Pamukkale’s vistas are stunningly unforgettable, however, the contrast between the natural wonders and ancient ruins are spectacular when laid out beneath you. Paragliding offers a fantastic way to view the region from above while indulging in a heart-racing activity.


22:00 pm - Tonight you will board an overnight bus bound for Istanbul.
