From your hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to the bus station for a local bus to Selcuk
You will arrive in Eceabat in the early evening and transfer on to your accommodation in the Gallipoli area.
Overnight in the Gallipoli region.
You will begin your day with a tour of the Gallipoli region visiting many memorial sites.
Our guide will be with you to lead you through important places such as,
Brighton Beach situated near Kabatepe village, this was a swimming spot for Anzac troops during the campaign, free time was precious and today this is one of the only sanctioned beaches for swimming along the peninsular.
Beach Cemetery is situated on what was known as Hell Spit. This was one of the first cemeteries dug during the Anzac campaign.
ANZAC Cove is a small bay where brave soldiers found themselves so far from home. İt became famous as the site of World War I landing of the ANZACs on 25 April 1915.
Ariburnu Cemetery started in 1915 and was subsequently enlarged in the 1920s. A previous place of the Anzac Day Dawn service.
ANZAC Commemorative Site was built in partnership with the Australian government and with the approval of the Turkish government. The new site was dedicated on Anzac Day 2000.
Mehmetcik Memorial Statue Dedicated to all Turkish soldiers at the Gallipoli Campaign. Mehmetçik is a respectful name given to Turkish soldiers in a war.
Lone Pine Australian Memorial derives its name from the single lonesome pine tree growing here.
Johnston's Jolly, (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels) lies just north of Lone Pine, named after Brigadier-General George Johnston, commander of the 2nd Australian Division Artillery.
Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery dedicated in 1992 to the first Turkish soldiers to resist the Allied landing of 25 April 1915.
The Nek a cross now stands here commemorating the lives lost.
Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial The view from here is breathtaking however, the Wellington Battalion barely had time to take it in.
Once the tour finishes, you will be dropped off at the bus station where you will take a bus to Istanbul.
