You will begin with the guide meeting at your hotel where you will head to Eyup. This hilly area of Istanbul is famous for having the best friends of the Prophet Mohammad buried here which led to a necropolis being created as members of the population wished to be near on judgement day. After your time walking in the Eyup you will head to the top of Pierre Loti Hill where you can enjoy the view of the city below, while here why not try a cup of traditional strong Turkish coffee.

After returning to ground level from Pierre Loti Hill you will head to Chora Church. This beautiful Byzantine Orthodox has many examples of frescos and large mosaics from the 14th century. Following the beauty of Chora Church, you will walk through some of the quiet streets, through the streets of Balat. These quiet streets offer a pleasant walk, with brightly coloured houses in traditional-style homes. Continuing this traditional street walk you will head to the district of Fener.

After your time exploring these streets you will head to the water and take a Bosphorus cruise. Sailing along this body of water you will see some of the icons of the city as well as a variety of bridges where you will see the different building types that are spread along the shore.
