Welcome to Konya!
See some of the highlights of the area on this exciting day tour. First stop, Catalhuyuk, a 9,000-year-old town which was once one of the largest and most complex centres of early settled life. This was a very different type of society in which women played the central role. Here you can see early pottery, metals, wooden bowls, and textiles and how they were used.

Next stop, Kilistra, an archaic city located 49 kilometres southwest of Konya. The settlement in Kilistra was established first during the Hellenistic and Roman times where St Paulos who is mentioned in the Bible may have lived here for some time.

Finally, Sille and Siyata Monastery is your last stop. It is among the most important centres of the early Christian period and is located 8 kilometres northwest of Konya. Here you can see many tombs engraved by monks.
