Bursa is steeped in history and on today's tour, you will visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Cumalikizik this beautiful village is a gateway to the past, part of today's tour will also take you to one of the highest points of Bursa where the Tophane gardens are and where the views over the city are unforgettable. There will be time for shopping and visiting the Bursa Zoo and horse riding a great day out full of fun, adventure and history.

Tour Details
Bursa Zoo
With over 700 animals that are spread out over a 20-hectare area of Bursa, this visit is a great day out for kids of all ages. In 1998 the zoo first opened to the public and has been well received ever since. There is a large African safari enclosure with zebra, giraffe and ostriches and in a different enclosure, you will find the lions.
Horse Ranch
After leaving the zoo we will head to the riding centre where everyone will have a chance to try their horsemanship skills. Horse riding is at an extra cost to the normal tour price and is optional, there are plenty of other animals around the ranch to see if you don't want to ride (This activity is not available through winter)
We will take a lunch break before continuing on with our tour.
Tophane
A beautiful old district in Bursa that has been well preserved, Tophane means Armoury and here in this well-maintained city garden you will find rows of historic canons in front of the old 6 storey Nusretiye clock tower, During the holy month of Ramadan, each evening all of the canons are fired to let all the faithful fasters know they can begin their evening meal, directly behind the tower is a viewing point with a long walled walkway where the whole of the city is laid out before you, there are also tombs here at this citadel belonging to Osman and Orhan Gazi, also in this park, you will find a Mosque and various other buildings of interest.
Old Cumalikizik Village
The Village of Cumalikizik is part of the Bursa province situated just 10 kilometres east of the Bursa city centre at the foothills of the Uludag Mountain is one of the oldest established villages in Turkey and is now a UNESCO world heritage site as many of the original buildings are still intact dating from the Ottoman times over 800 years ago whilst here you will be able to walk the cobbled streets and soak up this ancient atmosphere.
Ozdelik Shopping Centre.
After lunch, we will travel to the centre for shopping, traditionally cotton and cotton products were the main items for sale and purchased, but now you can buy everything here from souvenirs to clothes and of course, the cotton trade in Turkey is still thriving and you can buy towels and sweaters etc all made from the busy cotton industry.
