After we pick you up from the airport, we will begin our fully guided Ephesus Ancient City Tour.
The magnificent Ephesus was one of the Ancient Capital cities of Roman Asia - the second largest ancient city in the world! in its time. A city where over 200,000 people lived over 3,000 years ago. The streets are so intact you can see exactly how daily life was from the Agora to the Library of Celsus this was a city of culture and great organisation. The Great Theatre of Ephesus situated on harbour street was able to seat up to 24,000 spectators. a truly magnificent sight to see. There is so much to see here, from sculptures to carvings to Ionion columns making this understandably one of the most visited places in Turkey

You will also visit the House of the Virgin Mary. An important place for many in the Christian faith, as it is believed this is where Mary spent the last years of her life. You will also visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world – The Temple of Artemis.
