Following the 2 hours and 30-minute drive, our first stop is the Temple of Artemis. This temple was built in the 3rd century BC. Our guide will give an overview of the history before we have our lunch.

After lunch, we will explore Sardis Ancient City. The most important architectural works that were discovered here were the Synagogue and Gymnasium. From history, we have learned that when Babylon Temple was destroyed, 125,000 Jewish people moved to the western part of Turkey. The synagogue was built in honour of the Jews by the Romans in the 2nd Century AD.

On this tour, we will also et to see the famous Patroclos River. It is believed King Midas of the Phrygians used to bathe in this river.

Following your visit to the Ancient City, we will return to your hotel.
