The first stop of the day will be the Ancient City of Termessos, built by the Solymianson the shipping route to the Aegean. Built completely on a mountainous area, we will take our time to explore some of the remains including the walls, Hadrian's triumphal arch, cisterns, theatre, the gymnasium, agora, the Odeon, and the Heroon. Among the tombs, you will also have the chance to see the extraordinary sites of Alcatel, Agatemeros, and the Lion decorated sarcophagi.
Termessos lies in Gulluk Dag National Park which includes an area for breeding wild goats and deer; it is also the last refuge of the Anatolian lynx. If you're lucky, you might even spot some butterflies!
After a delicious lunch, we will continue to see Duden Waterfalls, a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The waterfall, formed by the Duden River–one of the major rivers in southern Anatolia–is located 12 km northeast of Antalya. At this spot, the crystal waters of the Lower Duden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea.
Following a packed day of sightseeing, you will be dropped back to your hotel around 17:00 pm.
