Tour Overview

2 Day tour from Kusadasi Selcuk to Gallipoli and Troy. Take a journey to Canakkale, stopping along the way at Ancient Pergamon where you will tour the ancient buildings that were iconic to the culture including the Library, which held 200,000 books and the Gymnasium.

The following day sees you exploring the world-famous Ancient City of Troy and its many icons, including the wooden horse replica. Later in the day, you will tour the site where the Battle of Gallipoli was fought, this includes the memorials to the troops who lost their lives on both sides, tunnels, trenches and landing points still remain alongside the cemeteries where the fallen were buried.

Itinerary — Kusadasi Selcuk To Gallipoli & Troy - Main Itinerary

10:30 am Pick up from hotels & bus to Canakkale

The journey is about 7 hours and there will be a stop at Pergamon along the way. The Pergamon tour will make stops at the Acropolis, the Library which once held 200.000 books, the Temple of Athena, the Temple of Trajan, the Gymnasium situated on terraces, the lower Agora, the Hellenistic Theater with a seating capacity of 10,000, and the Temple of Dionysus.

There may be free time to visit Archaeological & Naval museums and the Ottoman Castle in Canakkale.

Transfer on the ferry to the hotel in Eceabat.

Overnight in the Gallipoli region.

Today's tour will begin with an exploration of Troy. In Troy, you will visit the Trojan Horse, Sacrificial Altars, the 3,700-year-old city walls, Houses of Troy I 3,000 B.C. - 2,500 B.C., the Bouleuterion (Senate Building), The Odeon (Concert Hall), and the remains of the various cities from Troy I through to Troy IX.

Break for lunch.

On the afternoon tour of Gallipoli, you will visit Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, the Mehmetcik Statue, the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, the Nek, and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.

18.00 pm – The tour bus departs for Istanbul

23.00 pm - Arrive at your hotel in Istanbul
