Istanbul And Cappadocia

Welcome to Turkey!

Today is your arrival in Istanbul, and your five-day tour will begin with a pickup from the airport. We will then transport you to your accommodation. You will have the night to rest before beginning your activities in the morning.

Overnight in Istanbul.

After breakfast, meet your professional local guide at the hotel and begin your walking tour through Istanbul’s historic Old City.
 
Visit the Hippodrome of Constantinople, the magnificent Blue Mosque, and the iconic Hagia Sophia. Continue to the colourful Grand Bazaar and explore the aromatic Spice Bazaar, filled with spices, Turkish delights, teas, dried fruits, and local products.
 
An optional visit to the Basilica Cistern can also be arranged. The entrance fee is not included.

After breakfast, meet your professional guide at the hotel and visit the magnificent Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries.

Explore the palace courtyards, imperial chambers, historical collections, and panoramic views over the Bosphorus.

After the palace visit, enjoy a scenic two-hour Bosphorus Cruise between Europe and Asia. Along the way, admire Istanbul’s waterfront palaces, mosques, fortresses, traditional Ottoman mansions, and spectacular skyline.

Flight From Istanbul To Cappadocia
Following your tour, we will transport you to the airport where you will catch an evening flight to Kayseri airport in the amazing Cappadocia region. From there, we will transfer you to your accommodation in Goreme.

- Early Morning -
OPTIONAL TOUR: CAPPADOCIA HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT
Your final morning will begin with an optional hot air balloon flight, which for many travellers is the highlight of their Cappadocia experience. If you choose to participate in this experience, you will be picked up from your accommodation very early in the morning so that you are in the air while the sun rises, making for some incredible photo opportunities. You will be returned to your accommodation in time for breakfast.

Full-Day North Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation and led through various historical settlements of the North Cappadocia region, and also tour through some of the unique landscapes that can be found in the Devrent Valley and Monks Valley. Check out the Three Beauties, three large "sister" freestanding rocks that tower over the valley. You'll also visit one of the oldest settlements in the region at the Goreme Open Air Museum, which was a series of monasteries. Get photos from one of the best views in the area, Esentepe Panoramic View; here you'll get to enjoy panoramic views of all of Goreme.

OPTIONAL TOUR: TURKISH NIGHT SHOW & DINNER.
But the fun isn't over once the sun is down; this evening we offer the option to add an evening of traditional food, entertainment, and fun at our Special Turkish Night, watching Turkish belly dancing whilst trying foods that are unique to Turkey, which you can't find anywhere else. This fully catered evening is an event too good to turn down!
 
Overnight in Cappadocia.

South Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast, your tour will begin with a visit to the fascinating Underground City, where you will get an idea of the way early Christians lived in hiding while escaping persecution. This tour also includes a visit to the Uchisar Castle Panorama and a stroll through the amazing Meskendir Valley, Rose Valley, Red Valley with its spectacular colours, and even Pigeon Valley, which, as the name implies, is home to hundreds of pigeons. Check out one of the "off the beaten path" churches in Cavusin Valley.

Flight From Cappadocia to Istanbul
Following this final tour, you will be transported back to the airport where you will catch your return flight to Istanbul.
