Tour Overview

2-day tour that begins on the Peninsula of Gallipoli where you will view the memorial monuments made as a remembrance to the fallen soldiers who fell for their beliefs. There is also the different landing points that the Allied troops attempted to invade, trenches and tunnels are still left here as a sign of respect for those who fought and died here. Along with the battle works, there are also cemeteries for both sides as they buried their dead to lay them to rest.

The next day you will visit the Ancient cities of Troy and Pergamon with ruins from the time of Ancient Greece and beyond there are many different buildings to explore.

Istanbul to Eceabat/Canakkale & Gallipoli Tour

Pickup from hotel (between 6 - 7 am) in Istanbul and transfer to Eceabat. Pickups only from Sultan Ahmet and meeting point in Taksim.

12:00 pm - Arrive into Eceabat and have lunch

13.00 pm - We depart for the fully guided tour of Gallipoli. On this tour you will visit Brighton BeachBeach CemeteryANZAC CoveAriburnu CemeteryANZAC Commemorative Site, the Mehmetcik Statue, the Lone Pine Australian MemorialJohnston's Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, the Nek, and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.

In the early evening, you will check into your hotel.

Overnight in the Gallipoli region.

Troy/Pergamon Tour and tour end in Izmir or the Ephesus Region

In the early morning, you will be picked up for a tour of Troy and Pergamon. After the Troy tour, you have the option to return to Istanbul or make your way to Izmir and/or the Ephesus region.

In Troy, you will visit the Trojan HorseSacrificial Altars, the 3,700-year-old city wallsHouses of Troy I 3,000 B.C. - 2,500 B.C., the Bouleuterion (Senate Building), The Odeon (Concert Hall), and the remains of the various cities from Troy I through to Troy IX.

After lunch, the tour will continue on to ancient Pergamon, making stops at the Acropolis, the Library which once held 200.000 books, the Temple of Athena, the Temple of Trajan, the Gymnasium situated on terraces, the lower Agora, the Hellenistic Theater with a seating capacity of 10,000, and the Temple of Dionysus.

20:00/20:30 pm arrival at your accommodation near Ephesus.

Overnight in the Ephesus region (Kusadasi, Selcuk, or Sirince).
