Faralya is a village of outstanding beauty and views. It sits on the Lycian walk about 13 kilometres from the resort of Oludeniz and next to the very well known Butterfly Valley. The village of Faralya itself sits high up on the mountain above the sea and the old village houses that are there have some of the best sea views in the whole of Turkey. Getting to Faralya could not be easier as the local bus service runs every day from the local town of Fethiye. Over the whole region are many signs of the ancient civilizations that lived here, at almost every step you can find stonework and sarcophagi, well worth going that little bıt further out to visit.
